Why Do We Do It?
We’re a team of school nutrition professionals driven by a shared mission: to strengthen connections across the K–12 nutrition landscape. With over 40 years of combined experience, we know that real impact happens through collaboration, compassion, and mutual respect. We coach with care, create inclusive spaces, and foster relationships that uplift both school communities and industry partners.
Meet Our Founder
Leeza started her career in school nutrition in 2012 as a menu planner and progressed quickly into a foodservice director role. She continued to fall in love with school meal programs as she advanced in her career. Never losing sight of the end goal of ensuring all students have access to healthy food daily, she understands the complexities and nuances that come along with running a program, let alone leading a diverse team. As a professor teaching Dietetics Management, she has learned and fine-tuned leadership techniques and how to lead a team toward a common goal. Her strengths include strategic planning, building relationships/partnerships, and of course all of the regulations pertaining to the federal meal program!
